 Caribbean Hub-ACP MEAs Project
Internship:
The CARICOM Secretariat, through the EU funded Capacity-Building Related to Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) in African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Countries Project has launched an Internship Facility in all Caribbean ACP Member States. In Guyana, this facility will be used to support the work of the Agency with respect to the implementation of Guyana’s MEA commitments. The Agency is now in the process of recruiting an Intern under this Facility for a period of three (3) months. The Terms of Reference for the Internship can be found at the Agency’s web page (www.epaguyana.org/index.php/vacancies), or at the Agency’s Office at Ganges Street, Sophia, Georgetown.
To be eligible for consideration for this internship the candidate must be a CARICOM National (evidenced by a passport issued by the Member State), resident in Guyana, and must be twenty-nine(29) years of age or younger. The Intern must also possess at least a first degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, Natural Resource Management or comparable academic preparation and must be fluent in written and spoken English. A stipend will be paid to cover basic expenses associated with the Internship period.
